Joel S. Rothman graduated Northwestern University School of Law, where he served on the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. He is a past Chairman of the Trust Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, the Section on Trusts and Estates of the Illinois Bar Association, and the Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law of the American Bar Association. Joel also serves as a director of national and local charitable organizations. He is the past Chairman of the Board and National President of the American Society for Technion. Joel has practiced for more than 40 years in the areas of estate planning, probate, wealth protection, and trust administration. Christopher R. Fleck is a graduate of DePauw University, Cum Laude, and Valparaiso University School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, where he was the Executive Managing Editor of the Law Review.  He is a member of the Probate Practice and Trust Law Committees of the Chicago Bar Association, the Trusts and Estates Sections of the Illinois State, New York State and American Bar Associations, and the Estate and Gift Taxation Committee of the New York City Bar Association from 2016 – 2019.  Chris concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust and estate administration. He was named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2011 – 2014 and has spoken at the Chicago Bar Association.  He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and New York.

Ben Fagel is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the American University Washington College of Law, cum laude. While in law school, Ben was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society and worked in the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, representing low-income clients in disputes with the IRS.  Ben also graduated from the Northwestern University School of Law, earning an LL.M. in Taxation, with Honors, with a concentration in Wealth Transfer and Legacy Planning. He is a member of the Chicago and Illinois State Bar Associations, and the Young Lawyers Estate Planning and Federal Taxation committees of the Chicago Bar Association.  Ben concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, wealth transfer taxation, estate and gift tax return preparation, probate, and estate and trust administration.  Ben has served as a board member of both the Chicago chapter of ORT Next Generation and the Chicago ORT Technical Institute, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Chicago Region of ORT America.

Venson (Vince) R. Gill is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, Cum Laude, where he served on the Journal of Law and Education. Vince also graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, earning an LL.M. in Taxation. He is a member of the Trusts and Estates section of the Illinois Bar Association and is currently serving as the Legislative Liaison for the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Estate Planning Committee. Stuart A. Cohn is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago, a Masters degree in taxation from DePaul University, and a Certified Public Accountant Certificate. Stu has extensive experience in private practice and as corporate general counsel. He served as Executive Vice President/General Counsel for Web Street, Inc., a publicly held (Nasdaq-NMS) company that was acquired by E*Trade Financial Corp. Stu participates in national and local charitable organizations, and currently serves as Board Chair of the Cook County Forest Preserve Foundation. He has served on the boards of Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago; the American Society for Technion, Camping & Education Foundation; and the American Youth Soccer Organization. Stu concentrates his practice in the areas of general corporate law and exempt organizations.

Roberta G. Evans is a graduate with honors and distinctions of the University of Connecticut and a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar, the Illinois Council of Lawyers, and the Probate Practice, Trust Law, and Elder Law Committees of the Chicago Bar Association. While serving as Assistant Dean for International Student Affairs at the University of Chicago Law School, Roberta was selected as chair of the American Association of Law Schools Committee for International Student Programs. She participates in the Mandatory Arbitration Program for the Circuit Court of Cook County and acts as a pro bono Guardian ad Litem in the Probate Court. Roberta concentrates her practice in the areas of probate, estate planning, and trust administration.

Michel Winkelstein is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and the John Marshall Law School. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mike is licensed to practice law in Illinois and the United States Court for the Northern District of Illinois and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar. Prior to practicing law, he had significant experience establishing and managing HR departments including staffing, employee relations, benefits, and compensation administration. His present practice is concentrated in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, probate and civil litigation. Mike also has significant experience in bankruptcy, criminal, domestic relations, personal injury, contracts, and collections. He is an active participant with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
